E was up early today, so we made breakfast and ate with Dad before work.
She didn't want to lay back down, so we got dressed and headed to the Y.
We walked to the Y and it was hot and muggy at 8:30am. Yuck!
After the Y we walked to our rental office for a laundry card and turned in our inventory sheet.
OMG!!! We walked into our building and someone was making french toast. I love french toast and the smell. However, it's the burning butter and smoke it causes that is overwhelming the entire hallway! There is no ventilation in the place, so as we walk we are cutting through the fog. It's kind of funny, but stinky!
THEN, we started a load of laundry in the other building. I thought our apt smelled like smoke? There must be a burning butt collection nose level through out the other building. I have a mission to get the laundry in and out of the place as fast as possible. :) I'm thinking I'll go in with a mask on, or bandana around my face next time. I can't express how terrible it is you can smell and taste it.
I look forward to going back the burning butter of my own building.
I sat her down and fed her some early lunch (still breakfast time for many people). Then off for an early nap with Mr. Giraffe Man.
Oh Kyle you are too funny! I am going to send you one of those gas mask you can wear on top of your head for a hat and then, upon entering your building, pull it down for protection against the smell too!! Nora will love it!
