Another successful breakfast prepared by Ava and Dad, Eggs, avocados, toast,
Complements to my chefs, it was so tasty! Great way to start an end of vacation drive.
We left Cadillac headed for Grand Rapids. I was going to post grand parent picture with E, but she didn't wake up in GR, so I didn't think it was fair to only show 2/3 grand parent sets. :)

On the way to GR our lake friend called and asked us out to a lunch grill out. The better part of us thought, NO stay on the road and head home. The party side called him back and said YES! We'll be there at 12:30!
HOW could we say NO? It's 89degrees and sunny! That's a grill & beach day, not drive to IA day!

YUP, it's COLD!

Next stop Saugatuck for coffee and final playground before hitting long road to IA.

Landsharks and Uncommon are the 2 places we HAVE to stop when we are in Saugatuck. 

E scored and nice pair of keens, way better than the OldNavy flipflops for playing in.

Play time over & it was on to 196 south or west whatever.

Just south of Fennville/South Haven area we hit one lane stopped traffic. It was totally marked you have to Merge in 1 mile. Peeps were still driving in R lane to squeeze in at last minute. 

One guy was going to put a stop to that!

The black SUV is making the silver one VERY upset, she began trying to pass him on the right. 

Finally this fight was over, she drove on the shoulder to get up there!

We had to make this sign, b/c no one else would tell a Cadillac SUV they were driving on a really FLAT TIRE!

From here, the iPhone said we were coming into RED stopped traffic for miles in Gary, IN. So, we got off and took 20 to go around. Everything was fine, till we went to get back on 94, a police car passed us just as we were about to get on. We decided to take a pit stop and con't on 20. Next thing you know there's an on ramp for the other highway we can take. We got on going the WRONG way, so we got off and drove back getting on the RIGHT way. Then we went to merge on to our highway and the ramp was CLOSED! OMG! 

Our tension in the car was crazy thick!

SO we took the detour all the way back to the PIT STOP WHERE THE COP HAD PASSED US!!!!!!!

SO FRUSTRATING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We made it back to the hotel around Midnight! NOT GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!
