I have discovered "fully-furnished" is a relative term. I walked into our new apt and was BLOWN away by the smell. I will blog and give full address and descriptions AFTER we are moved out. Just so the next tenant knows EXACTLY what to expect. FYI you do get a large plastic tree and ivy basket thing.

I called Brett, My mom, Brett's mom, Ava b/c I felt like there was no way I should put my family in these conditions. Brett took an early lunch to come see the new place. We called and tried to get out deposit back and tried to NOT move in. I asked for a different apt, but none were available.

Brett and I had a major discussion about what we are going to do. He said there was no way he was staying. We were making plans for E and I to go back to MI & he could get a hotel or stay w/friends.

After we calmed down, I dropped him back off at work. We decided we have to make this work for 2 months in order to get our $525 back. There is NO WAY this place is worth 995/mo!!! Everything is included which is nice, but we had to go buy new sheets, candles, fabreeezzze, towels, coffee maker, etc...
Before picking Brett up at work E and I headed to Eldridge to play at the school playground.

These pics are from the night we carried everything in from the car and threw it in here. It's a MESS.

If anyone would like to visit, we would love it. I thought we would have a 2nd bed for guests, but I think may have been occupied by an obese man that slept in the middle? Sorry.

We are drinking tonight, maybe heavily :p
Oh yeah, did I forget to mention E's diaper rash? In the past 1.5 years, she has had one instance of a small rash.
Tonight I went to set her down to eat dinner and she freaked out. I thought she had swallowed something and couldn't get it down? Had a stomach cramp? It was CRAZY, I've never seen her like this.
Brett started sweating immediately!
I noticed she was gripping at her diaper, so I took a look. Sure enough, I don't know when? how? but her butt was RED! We took a soak in the tub and that relived her for a while. The living room photo is AFTER the tub and soothing cream. ON MY behalf, I changed her diaper 2 times at the playground and normally through the day and saw NOTHING?!
Next thing I know, it's 10pm and she's waking up in my arms freaking again. Back to the shower while Brett goes clear across town for heavy duty diaper cream. Rubbed it on and she slept ALL night...
