well, we ALL slept in late! It was nuts! I've never seen that set of parents sleep in any further than 7am!!!!
I think we all needed it. The morning was SOOOO nice, that we decided to start the boat and cruise over for breakfast. We docked at Cheryl's and were told it was a 45min wait for food. Fine, no biggie. THEN the friends from the night before showed up with 6 MORE people! breakfast took 2.5hours!!!!
Then we took a short cruise around the lake before heading back to the condo. This was our doom, as we were VERY LATE starting our drive home.
We had to call our other parents and apologize for not seeing them this trip. AND again, We can't even express the guilt we felt for not spending time with them. We'll be back soon enough, and then you will want us to leave again :)
We made it to starved rock exit in IL before we finally stopped. E got out and stretched her legs. She napped almost the entire way home and didn't have any problems falling asleep that night.
The drive was great and I feel like that was one of out best times yet.
We never ever want you to leave and I am so glad you had such a good time!!!!
