I'm still trying to figure out what day it is. We walked to the Y and I was so hot and tired this morning I thought my legs were going to give out. I hopped on a treadmill anyway, then walked home feeling the same way.
Brett texted me from work saying he was in a different state of mind and falling asleep. OKAY, so it was the weekend + the drive that really did us in! WE are getting OLD!
Even E was super moody and tired today. She went into time-out 2x because she couldn't calm down or listen.
Emailed the lady at the front desk to see if there was a verdict yet about pro-rating the rent for august. 1000.00 is a little steep for 1-2 weeks.
She wrote back saying the boss said "no" My reply was, consider this my notice, we will be leaving at the end of the month. Her reply was, we require a written note signed by you and your husband 30days before leaving. I told her that is fine because we have one all ready to go, I'll drop it off tomorrow.
I have a feeling this company is not going to take our letter. I'll drop it off first thing tomorrow morning, and they will say it's too late I needed it on Friday with your rent check.
Brett came home to a crazed E. We ate dinner and went to bed. I'm too stressed out to sleep and there is nothing I can do about our situations right at this minute, so I updated the blog. Pics will come soon. They are all on iPhones, bc something happened to my camera in the moline to cadillac trip. it's out of commission at this time.
I will go join the sleeping crew now....
wait...just received an email back from the front desk. She said "thanks kyle, we'll see you tomorrow" I REALLY REALLY REALLY hope that means they are taking our 30day letter!!!!!!!!
