KBETM Journal: Friday August 5th

Today was the BIG skit for Princess A.
E and I dropped her off early at Drama camp to get ready and practice some more.
Then we headed back to Cadillac to Meijer, the condo, and picked up Grandma Ava. We were right on time for the show. E made it through 3skits before we had to excuse ourselves from the auditorium!
It's SO small in there that we couldn't just sit in the WAY back.
I missed the big show, but Grandma Ava was able to record it on her phone. I will email it out to those interested. Anyway, A played a cat. She was right in character and in the recording you can hear the laughter. Grandma Ava and A's camp leader said that A was the scene stealer in that skit & she was right on with her cat character.
After the play we headed back to Cadillac to see Grandpa's build site and the new soaker tub that was just delivered today. The house has drywall and has started to be primed. With the drywall up, the house is really starting to take shape. Dad's sketches of what will be are pretty cool. (he works with NO 'master plan', literally sketches on cardboard of the living room wall)
Once the walls are completely up and obvious things are in, the design work will start.

After that we dropped Grandma Ava back off at the office. I kept Princess A till late afternoon.

Around 6:30 we met K, A & D on the White Pine Trail for a leisure bike ride.
