Saturday Aug13th

Brett is in Spring Lake and we will be going up to visit him today. Right when we got in the car it was a downpour.
Oh well, he's been out sailing for two days and says it's fine up there. We pulled into the beach drive and it wasn't raining here YET, but it was coming.

E and I quickly got in some sand play before the rain set in.

As we were out playing Brett and Brian came in from sailing. The wind was picking up a little, so they decided to go out a few times. The last time they came in they were going super fast!!

 All of a sudden we felt some small drops of rain, and we quickly headed to the house. This photo below was to show just how hard it was raining. From this area you can usually see the two piers.
With the rain this strong, it makes the whole lake look like its covered in a fog.

We decided to head inside and play for hours in her favorite spot! YES!!! The stairs, then she added the shoes when the simple up & down the stairs proved too easy.

MrsG prepared a tasty black bean lasagna for dinner. We ate, packed up, and headed to GR to stay with Brett's parents.
