Wednesday August 10th

WOW it feels like fall this AM. Perfect temps for biking and playing outside. However, the grey clouds were looming and I need to get my camera fixed.

SO, E and I ate breakfast did some running laps in the condo, took showers and headed to TC for the afternoon.

First stop Best Buy! Here's a WTF moment, the Geek Squad guy puts my camera lens on the camera body, JUST like I do and started taking pics!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT THE F?! I have put that lens on weekly just in hopes that it will magically work. I explain that this lens hasn't worked for a month. This guy touches is and POOF it's fixed!? FELT LIKE THE BIGGEST IDIOT! PLUS I've missed out on so many great photo ops, bc I thought I didn't have a camera OMG!!!!!

Because of this great new, I decided that E and I need to go out to the Lake side park and play. HOWEVER, when we got out there I forgot that I took the memory card out of the camera. I took it out to make sure I didn't loose it while it was getting fixed.

SO we played anyway and I took more phone pics. SORRY!! She ended up sitting in the water, which cut  the rest of our plans in TC a little short. No big deal! She had a great time and slept hard on the way back to Cadillac. PERFECT :)

 

 

 

 

 

What a great day for a drive up north. Now thru fall is my favorite time of year for the TC area.

When we arrived back in Cadillac we headed to Willow. It's the local farmers market/greenhouse/nice wine&beer shop. I love these types of store where you can read that most of the products are from Michigan.

Then we headed home with out local fare and made some cucumber salads with a delicious dressing. Dad and Ava had a party to go to so I made *'tuna' salad sandwiches for E and I. 

*Sub tuna for chickpeas chopped in processor and Mayo for Vegenaise.

don't judge my cucumber bowls! NOT perfected yet, 1st attempt. Ask me to make this for you so I can get better at building my bowls! :)

We were showered with teeth brushed and in bed by 9PM!!! Unheard of lately, but much needed for the big play day.
