Wednesday August 4th

Plans today are to get A from CAPS to Drama Club and back. We have to pick her up at 10:00am to get there on time.
So, E slept in till the last minute, she woke up around 9:40!! She never sleeps so long!!
Luckily I had been up for a while and had a bowl of fruit and cherrios, her morning drink, and clothes laid out and ready to go.
We picked A up and made the drop in Lake City on time! Early as a matter of fact. Hard to believe, but true.
E and I thought we would kill time in Lake City rather than drive back to Cadillac. NOPE! That lasted 10mins. I drove from one end of town from the other and then right back to the condo.
The weather was rainy and wet, so we just stayed inside ate lunch and killed time till we had to go pick her up. When it was time we did go get her and drop her back at CAPS. I made a promise to keep her on Thursday when the weather is nicer and we can go play outdoors somewhere.

E and I returned to the condo once again and I began to look up vegan dinner recipes. So many good looking ones!! I send emails to Grandma Ava for review.
Then around 4:00 I decided E and I need a bike ride. So, I went out and hooked the trailer up, pumped tires, and got ready to go on the White Pine.

There was a crazy amount of noise and action going on right by the condo. A replica of The Wall came to town complete with a HUGE motorcycle escort. People were flooding to see the action. Of course this got E's attention too, and she couldn't help but keep leaving my side to go check things out. No big deal, but it took 4x as long to get going on our bike ride!!!

The weather was cool with a nice overcast and slight breeze. PERFECT!
But as we were getting down the trail a ways, the Sun came out and the wind picked up! OMG!!!
When the cover is open on the cart and you have a strong head wind, get pumping legs bc the resistance is like pulling a big sail (in the wrong direction)
Needless to say I was tired and sweaty when we got back to the condo. AND, it was cold bc the sun went behind the clouds again. Classic Me with Perfectly BAD timing!

Oh well, a second nap always makes E a happier person in the evening :)
