Today Brett is in GR and helping Dad at house, SO I'm taking Sister and girls to East Tawas for Grandparent surprise visit.

Walked into complete chaos, kids, balloons, food, face painting, live music, etc....

First, we sat while mimi & papa finished lunch, We were front row to music, so girls were dancing because NONE of them can help themselves. 

Then we headed in to the festivities. 

 

 

Oh yeah, on the way to the party E got sick in the car! We haven't had a car puke yet.

Seemed to be okay after it all got out. Luckily we exited at West Branch where there is a outlet mall & Old Navy, a new travel outfit, full body and car seat wipe down & we were ready to go again. 

Poor Elmo is such a good friend he stuck by while getting coated with upchuck.

FYI he did make it through the wash today and is in great shape again. 

Oct21st

YEAH!!!! We came home from the Y this AM and E's ski coat and bibs arrived. SWEEEEEET

When I asked her to try on the whole outfit this is the look I got, 

OMG! That's the same look Brett gives me when he's not keen on something.

Oct 14-20th

This week was very rainy, windy and wet but did clear up for a few outside adventures.
We made it to the Y everyday this week, which was great, considering the biking, blading and outdoor walking was out of the question due to yucky weather.

Best if frozen and straight from container, NO plate needed or wanted for that matter.

Brett and Dad have been working a lot to get ceilings and the outside done before it gets too cold. Brett has coated the all the boards twice and sanded in between. It's all done in the garage, so the warm days need to stick around for just a little longer.

 

E now has many apps just for her on the iPad

We still have a lot of raking and yard work to get done....

If you have popcorn E is you best friend!! Especially stove top pan popcorn!!!! YUMMMMMMMM

Oct 13th Thursday

Today we raked in the AM, then headed North to TC
We also found her converse ONE FISH, TWO FISH shoes!!! YEAH!!!!!!!!
We own the book and read it at nap times.



Then because she was such a great sport during raking, car rides and shopping...
we picked up a little ELMO treat... YES Elmo cupcake with a ring on top

It was more fun to play with it than actually eat it!!
