Nov 28th Face Paint

Today Bliss wanted to do some face painting before lunch. So, that's what we did. She asked for an apple, and I tried to put a flower on her other cheek, but someone's fingers couldn't help but want to feel the wet paint.

Nov 27th Let the Good Times Roll

After a terrible Saturday, I decided we should have some fun. So, Bliss and I went skating with cousins. These 4 are the worst at taking a group photo. OMG!! In each one, there is one person looking ODD.

Yes this place is a step back to 1970's!! I'm sure nothing has changed but the CD playlist. It's complete with the original disco ball, carpet, smell, video games and tables and chairs. REALLY!!!!

 

they have strollers for little people that get tired of skating. Aunt KK pushed the stroller, so I got to go skate a bunch with A.
Probably looked a little odd, big fat lady ripping up the floor with a huge belly.
Just had to look out for falling kids and out of control ones (mostly the same peeps).


FYI, if cousin A is around, you are none existent. Don't even try to compete!!!

 

Nov 26th Disgusting...

Happy Birthday Mom!!!

Today i was on my hands and knees scrubbing baseboards of the Cherry St apt. I cleaned the fruit fly infested fridge, floors, carpet, and started in the bathrooms, OMG! 

Brett installed the new vanity and did drywall repair work. 

I'm pretty sure the apt has never been left in this condition before. EVER!

My back is paying the price for hunching over so much, running a shopvac, hands & knees scrubbing, and tub, toilet and fridge cleaning. Excellent!! I'll have to go walk it off at the Y on Monday.

Meanwhile, E has had NO nap and is being babysat by 4 people. Who knew? Like my dad says,  It take a village I guess? LOL!!!! 

Brett and I had a fruit smoothie at 9am for total food intake for the day, hungry and extremely tired and dirty we opted to pick up Bliss and head home. NO more did she hit her seat and she was out! She also lacked a good meal for the day, but there would be no waking her to eat. 

Great Day, let's NOT do it again, EVER!!!

Reminders

As I know xmas is the next holiday, please remember NO newborn gifts. I don't like to do any pre-shopping. Keep in mind, ANYTHING can happen! We have another couple of months to go, so it's WAY too early to get new baby stuff - thank you.

And if anyone is planning E gifts. Books. Thank you.

November 19th - 24th

This week has been pretty chill, E had her gymnastics on Monday. 

Plus more Y days Tuesday & Wednesday. 

We had to skip the gym on Thursday so peeps could sit around a table and eat slaughtered poultry.

We have been slowly going through, sorting and giving away things we boxed up before the IA summer. 

The last box we opened had halloween costumes and winter gear!! E was VERY excited to open this box,

She insisted on wearing the costumes, trying all the hats on and her 'fur' coat.

Many outfit combos were tried this day, The below outfit was all her. Believe it or not! She came to the kitchen wearing this outfit asking me for her "eyes" (sunglasses). We will have our hands full with this one

 

 

 

Friday Nov 18th

on the way to gymnastics, she had a great nap...with friends of course

 

Dressed for gymnastics. I know the frills go more with ballet than gymnastics, 

but try to find a large selection of xs, 2-3 sizes in stores.

Thursday Nov 17th

We woke up to snow this AM. SO, we waited till it warmed up to 25 before we headed out to play :)

We did a shape and letter lesson outside today. WAY more fun in snow than same old crayons and paper

 

Then we headed in for some veggie soup. FYI, YES these are Ramen noodles, but NOT the packets. 

We have veggies with our own veggie broth and add only the noodles. No MSG, No worries  : p

wednesday Nov 16th

Happy Birthday to Mike V!

Brett had the day off school so he came to dance lessons with us in Traverse City. 

After class we did some ballerina shopping. 

Fun to find the clothes, but OMG DON'T even think you are going to get the tutu or shoes off. She was running around the shop, on her toes, and brett had to hold her here just to get these phone photos.

After an interesting time in the dressing room, we finally removed the leo & tutu. However, the shoes were not going anywhere and her pants couldn't be put over the shoes. 

 

No more did we leave the store and she was OUT! With the shoes on. She wore the shoes for the rest of the day. Even the Y childcare allowed her to wear them in instead of her socks.

Monday November 14th

Grandma Ava bought a new friend to join abby and elmo. Looks like big has a broken neck or is telling her a secret? E's hair is looking greasy bc we just got out of the shower. 

November 12th

Sharing shelled peanuts at Honey Creek on the way home from GR. Super Cuddly & Super Cute!

 

 

November 11th

After the Y we went to breakfast and Dad & E shared a cone afterwards. YUMMMM
