When we got there Brett wouldn't let me do her hair. *note the crazy look though out the photos!!
I also didn't know there was an xmas party at the village that day either. We would have dressed up a little for the occasion.
E was taking it all in. She was the only small child there, Santa came to give out gifts, there was a small brass ensemble with a couple singers there (one of which was the HS music director)
During the music, E took the center stage, clapping, swaying, and dancing to the music. The residents LOVED it. They swayed and clapped with her, talked to her, and sang to her. It was pretty funny & very sweet. Again, we should have come prepared!! The staff director took her photo, how embarrassing!
After the band packed up, the music director scooped E up and took her to the piano. E sat on her lap and they played a few songs. Once she was done, E was still stuck to the keys for a while after that.
This site was VERY pleasing to a couple of piano players. Especially my papa who was a fantastic piano player and musician.
On the way home there was this really great sunset. It's taken through a dirty car windshield, but I didn't care. It was very wispy and colorful.

It looked like such a sweet time and I am sure everyone enjoyed it immensely!!!!
