Feb 17-18th

Yes, EC is in a Pink Bouncy seat. I lead everyone to believe it was a girl. OOooops :)
Anyway, He had his turn and then he was kicked out!!!
It just so happens that We had cousin A over for the day and they had a great time playing with every toy in the house!.
E & Brett went out skiing this afternoon because the weather was so nice. A, EC & I all stayed back bc there wasn't enough room for us in the car :(

Saturday, 18th...we had plans to head south to GR. Everything was loaded including E, Would you believe that we problem solved for an hour & figured out the Jetta will NOT fit all of us!!
This seriously almost lead me to tears, our commuter will no longer work.

So, we transferred into the Jeep & went to Meijer
They are having major construction and moving at the Cadillac meijer. This hat also took a nap with her. E is obsessed with shoes and hats and hoods. Do not try to take a at away!!!!!

Then we went back home to chill & eat some lunch.

We go through SO many stickers at our house it's crazy. We find them on our socks, phones, computers, clothes, and faces all the time.

At least she's sharing! What a nice sister.

Feb 15-16th

I need a bigger lap!!!!!!!!!
That's yogurt on E's face.
& NO I can NOT keep clothes on that girl!!!

This blanket was bought before we knew what we would have. E wore plenty of blue and green as an infant. ANYWAY,,,if you know my dad and grandfather, this blanket is sooooo appropriate especially with his middle name :)

Feb14th

E really wanted to hold him, so I let her,,,

Doctor Eleanor is ready for action.

She is very good about giving kisses on the head & eskimos on the nose.

Feb 13th

hmmmmmmm...........

we are ready to go!!!!

Feb 12th, YUP- I guess this is called a 'birth story'

Okay, so yesterday I had a feeling I was headed to TC today.
sure enough, 3:00-3:30 - awake with contractions every 10mins. Went back to bed for a while & finally decided to get everyone packed up a ready to go. I waited till 6-6:30 before I woke everyone up to say today is the day! Honestly, I was going to wait till 9-10 before telling anyone we need to get going.
My sister and Brett were both influential in the GET GOING department.
Needed to get E to her grandparents, car unloaded/loaded (minimal, but the infant carseat was a must).
Done. Brett and I drove to TC to be prepared for any sudden changes. I warned him it was going to b a while still. We went to breakfast at The Omelet Shop, drove to the bay so brett could study class notes & I worked on the computer, power walked the mall for an hour, went to bookstore downtown TC for another 45min & contractions finally started to really kick-up and change! Thanks to my friend Denise who is AWESOME at giving labor & delivery advice!!!!!!
I did look a little crazy if they have me on camera at the bookstore. A few lunges, side stepping, taking their stairs, modified quadruped positions anything to get pelvis moving and make baby get ready.

After this change we headed to the hospital, mainly because we were out of ideas as to what we should go do. Triage check-in was fine, but I was too early. Only to 3-4 at that point. We were told to walk around the maternity area for an hour! Um......yeah.
We hopped in the car & headed back downtown TC. Brett picked up some coffee & we walked from one end of town to the other & back.

--Side note, we stopped at the Toy Store to pick up E something nice from the newbie.
The lady asked when the new baby was coming. When we said in a few hours, her face turned to ALARM!! She started wrapping the gifts at turbo speed. Brett & I left giggling as we just FREAKED that lady out!!!

Anyway, back to the hospital. Blahhhhhhhhh, but lets's do this! I've been ready to push all morning.
My favorite OB was there & offered to break my water bc I was now 4-5 easy!!
I said YES!!! Let's get this going!!! & it did :)
Of course, I had the 'drug warning' - if you need drugs, now is the time...ha ha ha! right,
2:30/40 water broken...4:27 done!!! 18mins of pushing. Darn! I was hoping to be very efficient this time & get my time down to be even quicker. The worst part...Sunny side up! The little person was really killing my back.
Oh well, a least I'm healing SOOOOOooooo much faster! I was ready for a track walk on Tuesday.

Oh yeah, IT's a BOY?!!!!! WTF!!!!!!!  The nurse said the look on my face was Priceless & She doesn't see that anymore. She also commented on how fast and efficient drug free labor & delivery is. The staff we saw in our 24 hour stay was AWESOME!!! Everyone was super friendly & really nice. PLUS, as a bonus, mini-man never left the room. THAT I LOVED!

One of each our little lady & mini-man or little dude (he still needs a nickname), how exciting, New adventures, New experiences, NO more kids :)

I'm very lucky to have easy breezy pregnancies, fast labors & quick recovery.
I will take that an be VERY happy with our great little 4-some.

--Time to MAKE SURE we will only have 2 :)

After his first bath & all snuggled in.

Thank again to all of the Munson Staff We met in our 24hour stay. Our Labor & Delivery RN was amazing & Dr Riddle was so GREAT at keeping the entire birth so light and laid back.

****thank you to sis K for taking these and many other family photos immediately after birth!

Feb 8-11th

Today we made our treats to go with our valentines cards.
Rice crispy treats with homemade strawberry icing. :)

After that we cut and glued our grand parents cards and cousins frog cards together.
--YES, these are inspired by a 'Parents Magazine' email--
What can I say? It looked like more fun that store bought & we did the paper painting :)
I made sure to finish the heart hair bows early in case the girls want to wear them to school.
Then, we delivered our local Valentines gifts on the 11th bc I had a feeling I wasn't going to get back to the house before Tuesday.

Everyone needs a dad lounger right??

Icy Cold morning, but everything looked so bright I had to get a few photos around the house.

Box Check...Yup, still fit into tiny spaces...

I can't remember if I published these before or not?

Feb 7th, Valentines Prep

We painted some paper for our valentines cards today. Hopefully everyone will be getting them in the mail or personal delivery in time for Tuesday the 14th :)

This next series of photos is on here because E was very concentrated on this one.
Might need a frame for this piece of art!

I'm getting too many photos & not enough internet time!!!

So these are from Our Beach friends house around New Years, A friend brought her this costume for
x-mas & the pillow ladybug is another gift! E is spoiled where ever she goes!
  Thanks for the pics HG

And of course we are still getting out skiing...

We have been getting out to play when it's not bitterly cold, or so warm that it's a melting muddy messsssss

This day the weather was warm, but not warm enough to start everything melting.
She picked out the hat she is wearing. NO worries, it's seriously like 40's at this point.

We also have a great collection of stickers that we get out everyday! We wear them on our noses, cheeks, and anywhere else that can be covered with stickers.

(she picked out this outfit & insisted on wearing the hood & boots)
At least she's wearing clothes!!! I can hardly keep anything on her most of the time.
